Do I Take off My Clothes for a Massage?
To prepare for your massage session, remove your clothing (to your level of comfort) and place it in the basket or on the clothing hangers provided in the room. Jewelry (like rings or necklaces) can be placed in the small dish during your treatment. Lay face down on the massage table with your face positioned over the hole in the face cradle. Pull the draping sheet up to cover your back. When the therapist enters the room, he will knock first to make sure you are ready and comfortable before entering. He will adjust the drape so you are fully covered and comfortable before and during the massage treatment. He will reposition the drape as needed during the treatment, and will cover your body with the drape when asking you to flip over for the face-up portion of the treatment.
If you like, you can help yourself to a body wipe (helpful on hot days or after a bike ride!) to remove any makeup or perspiration, or to remove massage oils/lotions from your skin following a massage treatment.
I hope that you can relax and enjoy your massage service.

I Have Never Had a Massage. What Should I Expect?
Before your massage, you should undress to your level of comfort. Most clients will in fact remove all clothing, as you will be expertly and professionally draped and covered for the entire massage therapy session. However, if you do not feel comfortable removing all clothing, you shouldn’t feel any pressure to do so.

Once the face-down part of the massage is done, your therapist will lift the drape (hiding your body from view) and ask you to flip over on your back so the face-up part of the service can be completed. Following the massage, take your time getting up off the table, and getting dressed. Don’t forget any jewelry you may have removed.
Feel free to relax in the reception/meditation room area after your treatment, if desired.
Do I Have to Tip? How Much?
As a point of reference, the average client tip is typically 15-20% of the service fee. So, a 15% tip on $70 is $10.50, and 20% tip on $70 is $14.00.
What if I Want More (or Less) Pressure During the Massage?
I’m a trained, licensed massage therapist with over 14 years of experience. I will naturally observe and listen to your body, and adapt the massage to suit what your body needs to remove knots of tension and improve range of motion. Obviously if you have areas of injury, surgery, or pain, please let me know that before we begin the session so I can be sure to keep you comfortable.
I Prefer a Female Massage Therapist
I’m an independent licensed massage therapist, and currently the sole LMT in my practice. If you aren’t comfortable with a male therapist, you may want to seek an appointment with a female practitioner, elsewhere. That said, gender shouldn’t really come into play as I have clients of all genders and I am an experienced professional licensed massage therapist. I will assure your comfort during the treatment so you can relax and enjoy your massage.
I Can't Make My Appointment On Time - What Should I Do?
I understand that issues come up from time to time. If you can’t make your appointment on time, please reschedule your appointment online or call me at 727-373-8590 and I will reschedule your appointment.
If you are running just a few minutes late, you can still come for your appointment but keep in mind I may already have clients scheduled for appointments after you, so your appointment duration may need to be reduced so I don’t impact other clients who expect me to start their session on time.
I'm Not Happy with Something (music, temperature, table, etc.)
I strive to make every massage top-notch so my clients are happy and relaxed. If you aren’t satisfied during the treatment, please let me know right away so I can adjust it. If you don’t like the music, if the room or table is too cold/hot, or if you need the pressure or style of massage adjusted, please let me know right away.
I would love to earn your business as a repeat client. I hope if you aren’t happy with something you will let me know so I can make it right.
